2. Terms & Conditions
Booking Confirmation & Quotations
All quotations are subject to availability at the time of booking. A booking is only considered confirmed once the required advance payment is successfully processed and acknowledged by MungPhai Trips & Tours.
Payment Terms
Standard payment structures require an initial deposit upon booking, with the balance payable as per the mutually agreed terms before or during the trip. Exact terms will be specified on your invoice.
Driver Waiting Policy & Airport Pickup
Complimentary waiting time is provided for airport pickups based on standard industry practices. Extended delays not caused by flight schedules may incur additional waiting charges.
Itinerary Changes & Responsibilities
While we strive to adhere to the planned itinerary, changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Travellers are expected to cooperate with drivers and guides, maintain punctuality, and follow local guidelines.
Force Majeure & Liability Limitations
MungPhai Trips & Tours shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or damages arising from acts of God, extreme weather, strikes, political unrest, or other events beyond our reasonable control. Vehicle availability is subject to change based on road and weather conditions in mountainous terrains.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to amicable negotiation. Unresolved disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Assam.
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Timelines
- Cancellation before travel: Cancellations made well in advance may be eligible for a partial or full refund (minus administrative fees) depending on the package.
- Cancellation after booking confirmation: Standard cancellation charges will apply as outlined in your specific booking agreement.
- No-show policy: Failure to appear for the scheduled trip without prior notice will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
Supplier-Specific Rules
Please note that certain components of your trip are governed by third-party policies:
- Hotel cancellation policy: Dependent strictly on individual hotel guidelines.
- Cab booking cancellation policy: Specific notice periods apply for standalone cab rentals.
- Tour package cancellation policy: Mixed policies apply depending on the inclusion of hotels, permits, and third-party activities.
Refund Timelines
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 7-14 business days, depending on bank processing times.
